Applying to jobs is a pipeline problem: find roles, filter them, research the company, write something specific, send it, track it. Most of that is mechanical. So I automated the mechanical parts.
Finding roles
Two scheduled agents run every 6 hours. They scan VC-backed startup job boards, the YC directory, company careers pages and hackathon platforms, remove duplicates, and write new roles into a Notion tracker. I wake up to a list, not a search.
Writing outreach
For each company I pick, an AI coding agent produces a resume tailored to the role and a designed HTML email. 35+ personalised emails have gone out this way so far.
What stays manual
Choosing which companies are worth it, and reading every email before it’s sent. The agents are fast at volume and bad at judgement — so they do volume and I do judgement.
